The 'Vilakku' Bimonthly Brainstorming on STEM event, hosted by the IEEE-HKN Nu Eta chapter at Sri Sairam Engineering College, was a strategic initiative aimed at identifying exceptional talents, fostering collaboration, and offering insights into diverse STEM opportunities. Objective:
The objective of the ‘Vilakku’ Bimonthly Brainstorming on STEM event was to target engagement and discussions within the CSBS, MTECH CSE, ECE, EIE, and EEE departments to identify exceptional talents for potential recruitment candidates. The goal was to promote a hands-on approach to exploring STEM subjects, fostering collaboration, and showcasing diverse opportunities within STEM fields. Recommendations for future iterations included expanding interactive activities to encourage participant engagement and ensuring broader representation from various departments to enhance the overall experience.
KEY HIGHLIGHTS OF THE SESSION:
The event commenced with keynote address from Dr. Soma Prathibha, setting a tone of prestige and enlightenment. Participants from the departments such CSBS, MTECH CSE , ECE, EIE and EEE, divided into 8 teams, engaged in dynamic team-based activities and interactive discussions on STEM topics, promoting collaboration and meaningful exploration. Attendees had the opportunity to explore various aspects of STEM, gain insights into potential career paths, and understand the nuances and distinctions within STEM fields.
