Founder’s Day Celebration – Fusion 360 Workshop

INTRODUCTION

The IEEE HKN Nu Eta Chapter organized a hands-on workshop titled "Design Modelling using Fusion 360 Software" on 17th October 2024 at Sri Sairam Engineering College as part of its Founder's Day Celebration. The workshop aimed to enhance students' 3D design and modeling skills using Fusion 360, an industry-standard software in engineering, manufacturing, and product design. Mr. Aravindram V, ICT Design Week winner from the Department of Mechanical and Automation, led the sessions, providing expert guidance and practical insights.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

1. Introduction to Fusion 360: Overview of software features, interface, and engineering applications.
2. Practical Design Session: Live design projects under expert guidance, allowing students to apply learned concepts.
3. Q&A and Feedback Session: Interactive session for clarifying doubts and gathering feedback.
4. Audience: 115 students from the Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) department participated.
5. Learning Outcome: Hands-on experience with industry-grade software strengthened design and modeling skills.
